VOLUNTEERING WITH WOMBAT’S WISH
Our volunteers are diverse, compassionate, and pretty amazing. Here’s some of the ways they help:
- Work directly with children, young people and their families in a therapeutic capacity as part of our Weekend Camp Program
- Help out with activities, games and fun stuff at our camps and events
- Provide governance at Board level
- Lend us their skills in events and fundraising, to help WW support families across Victoria
- Pop by the office to help with admin and camp prep
Whether you’re keen to take part in our therapeutic weekend grief camp program, or happy to spend an hour or two in our friendly office helping us with admin prep, we’d love to have you as part of our incredible volunteer team!
Whichever way you choose to support Wombat’s Wish, you can be assured that your help can make all the difference to a bereaved child.
Ready to find out more about becoming a WW volunteer? Fill in the Volunteer Form below and help us get to know you, your interests and experiences, and in what ways you’d like to help out. We organise quarterly Volunteer Induction sessions, which are fun and informative, and for many of our volunteers, where they make beautiful new friendships.
